Dashboard for electric vehicle

Background

I received this task as part of Online UX workshop, I started the project to understand my UX abilities to dissect the problem and identify possible solutions based on that. I concluded the task given to me in one simple problem statement and throughout this case study I will try to find a solution to my problem statement.

Design process

I decided to follow IDEO’s Human-Centered Design Thinking process to make sure that my design decisions were supported by user research and have consider feedbacks from users.

Due to shortage of time I am focusing online three part of design thinking.

Ideate

Before jumping to any solution, I feel that doing some brainstorming around to ideate around the solution. I found one person to participate and work with me in a card sorting method to work around the solution.

Here are my findings :

Define

Solution space: As I proceeded with prototyping, I had to prioritize solution space to work on. So I wrote some important pointers which I will include on my first prototyping draft.

- Interactive platform
- Use minimalistic approach to visual design
- Easier to follow statistics
- User profile for safety and security of data
- Visual hierarchy to follow information easily on page

Prototype

At the end I made a mi-fi prototype.
