The future is in our hands

This project is an assignment of my Visual design course in STI. We received the instruction to design a hero page of a brand “Rewatch” that sells sustainable watches.

Project brief: The key element in Rewatch is credibility, sustainability, Scandinavian, straightforward and simple. The brand provides a clear picture where the product is the baseline and web design of overwhelming products that is our main focus.

Logo: Logos are created to feel as light as possible with a circle around “Re” to represent the product circle (from production to conversion), which is an important aspect when it comes to sustainability.

Colors: All main colors on the screen comply with AAA Contrast Ratio: 4.5 (Our Contrast Ratio: 12.42). The colors were chosen to be calm and uplifting. The colors are more matte and subtle.

Image manners: Images are used as a complement to the service to reinforce the credible and easy-going impression with a focus on diversity.

Font: The Lato font is chosen for its stripped-down simplicity and soft shapes. A fairly anonymous font so as not to focus away from the function of the service.

Icons: Standard icons for maintaining the universal language of instruction.

WCAGs: Menu, instructions, distances and colors followed many accessibility standards to meet the various AA accessibility levels.
